Operation Ride East is India’s northeast cross-country motorcycle ride to champion social causes while commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II. The operation will follow the route across the picturesque northeastern states that share borders with Bhutan, China, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. 

Ride East is India’s northeast cross-country motorcycle ride to champion a social-environmental cause and commemorates the 70 the Anniversary of the end of World War II. The event will follow the route across the picturesque northeastern states that share international borders with China, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. Each stop of the ride will relive WWII history connecting to the northeast.

Ride East will identify social-environmental entrepreneurs who have made a difference in some ways, but because of lack of institutional support or market linkages, they have not been able to widely impact their communities. Following the ride of a WWII dispatcher, Ride East will engage socially conscious bikers, who will facilitate such support through strategic collaborations with like-minded organizations and individuals. The intention is to leave green footprints by providing support to the entrepreneurs and enable them to socially impact their communities.
