Green Goodness Project

£ 10000 Goal

We train students from Richmond Park Academy in London to become effective social entrepreneurs with strong business skills and social responsibility and connect them within CSR with local farmers from Paradise Farm Sri Lanka.

Worldview Impact Foundation (WIF) team visited Paradise Farm in Sri Lanka to develop partnerships and promote the special green organic tea produced by the women there. The WIF team later developed a partnership between Paradise Farm and the Richmond Park Academy in London where the team was mentoring a few students.

WIF later funded the sourcing of green organic tea from Paradise Farm for the school’s green education project called Green Goodness that was designed to train a few students to become green entrepreneurs who worked on re-branding, marketing and selling the tea to the networks they have developed in London. This project has got the endorsement of Mr. Zach Goldsmith, MP who was also mentoring the students at Richmond Park Academy.

The WIF team trained these students at Richmond Park Academy to implement the Green Goodness project so the students we able to rebrand and sell the organic green tea that was sourced directly from the women of Paradise Farm in Sri Lanka.

This pilot project was a great success and now the WIF team plans to raise more funds in order to scale in up in others schools in the UK.

Through this donation you will support organic tea farmers and their families at Paradise Farm in Sri Lanka.
